EXTERIOR DESIGN
On a magnificent hull of more than 17 meters in length, the tandem of architects Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento is focused on providing maximum comfort, fluidity in movements and maneuvers under sail, and careful high-end finishes. Equipped with a straight stem but with volume at the bow and a maximum beam (5 meters) delayed, el Océanis Yacht 54 shows a modern and perfectly balanced hull in order to provide maximum pleasure under sail. On deck, and particularly around the cockpit, particular attention has been paid to circulation so that nothing obstructs the movement of the crew. El Oceanis yacht 54 it is effectively an evolution of the traditional central cockpit. Maintains the advantages in terms of safety and travel, and innovate in circulation at the same level. The ergonomics of the coaming and the good height of the gunwale, guarantee optimum safety and non-negligible comfort for the high seas. From the top of the descent and its solarium spaces, access to the transom is intuitive between the two cockpit tables, and also the two steering wheel seats are each equipped with a comfortable seat. Access to the sea is made by descending on the spacious bathing platform that allows you to store an inflated annex of 2,40 m in length. El Oceanis yacht 54 is available in two cutwork versions (2,50 m in standard, 1,95 m in option) and two types of mast (classic or winder).
A CRUISE YACHT
A cruising yacht yeah ! But in it those accustomed to the Oceanis range will recognize themselves. Arco, hull portholes, deck shape and porthole, the markers of the BENETEAU cruiser range are very present. INTERIOR DESIGN
Allow maximum light to penetrate, while ensuring excellent ventilation, provide an atmosphere that is both warm and modern, such has been the creed of the architect Lorenzo Argento. The many portholes and deck hatches, the interior configuration with a chart table worthy of the name and a large lounge table that can comfortably accommodate six people make up the interior of the Oceanis Yacht 54 that the future owner will be able to choose in light oak or walnut. Two versions are proposed : three cabins and two toilets, or three cabins and three toilets with an XXL proprietary cabin forward in which the double bed of 1,60 m wide.
FACILITATE AND ENSURE NAVIGATION
To simplify deck maneuvers at the same time, changes of tack and speed, BENETEAU proposes on the Oceanis Yacht 54 precious navigation aids. A) Yes, Ship Control is installed as standard. It allows to control all the boat data thanks to a playful and intuitive interface (batteries, deposits, motorization, illumination…). El Dock & Go, well-proven technician, It is also proposed to facilitate motor maneuvers in a confined space : a simple joystick controls a bow thruster and a 360 ° pivoting saildrive at the same time. Finally, It is possible to use the Harken AST system that automatically adjusts the sails based on the apparent wind and adjusts the jib during turns on board. The AST is managed from a control screen in the bathtub. Sailing with reduced crew, is thus an integral part of the ship's program.
GREAT DISPLACEMENT FLUIDITY
The cockpit at the same level, allows driving from behind government posts, up to the interns or to the level of the descent, without any obstacle. This wide space, beautiful evolution of the central cockpit, allows the crew to move in complete peace and safety to the large bathing platform.
